Appearance

Hugely elegant with the great complexity of very mature Grande Champagne. The mineral nose opens up with magnificent, generous fruity notes borne up by rancio touches and silky tannins. A complex framework of jammy fruit – dried apricot, pear, plum, orange peel – mingles with notes of pastry (praline, salted caramel), bergamot, leather, mild tobacco and toasted almonds

Palate 
The attack is an ode to Cognac rancio with mineral and spicy notes. Gourmet aromas of jammy fruit, apricot kernel liqueur, bergamot, vines and black truffle then mingle together.
The finish offers up delicately smoky and spicy notes: Havana cigar, cigar box, sandalwood, undergrowth and Timut pepper. The beautifully lingering aromas form a delicate, harmonious whole.
